About

A film festival on design and its subcultures

A Design Film Festival (DFF) is the first film festival in the world dedicated solely to design and its many subcultures. Founded in 2010 by Singapore-based creative lab, Anonymous, the festival explores design through the lens of film and looks at the stories, processes, and ideas behind creative disciplines including architecture, fashion design, product design, urban design, photography, contemporary art, and craft. Since our inception, DFF has travelled to over 10 cities globally including Bangkok, Taipei, Berlin and Portland, bringing our film selection to over 100,000 attendees.
TeamAnonymous produces the entire event. The lab oversees the business operations, event organisation, customer relations and ticketing management, content curation and development, marketing and communications, managing of the front of house, press relations, international and local partnerships — and of course, the creative direction, art direction and design of each edition.

Festival Director: Felix Ng
Festival Producer: Germaine Chong
