As the event grew, the festival needed to evolve too. This was the first year we had a theme, On a Scale of Art to Design, which explored the contemporary conundrum of ‘Is it Art of Design?’. The 2014 edition featured a longer festival schedule with more screenings and a new venue, Shaw Theatres Lido. The festival selection of 12 films included 2 world premieres, 6 Asia premieres and 3 Southeast Asia premieres. We also brought the festival to the skies, through a partnership with Singapore Airlines.
