We Are X
X Japan was a heavy metal phenomenon and a pioneer of the Visual-Kei movement. At the height of its tumultuous success, the band broke up in 1997 leaving leader Yoshiki to battle demons on a solitary music campaign. Twenty years after the tragedy-fuelled split, director Stephen Kijak tells their story as the band reunite for a show at Madison Square Garden.
