WHAT'S ON

OFFICIAL SELECTIONS

From over 130 submissions, 8 films that reflect the zeitgeist of the design landscape have been selected this year. Featuring five Asia premieres, two Southeast Asia premieres and one Singapore premiere.

DFF VIDEO ON DEMAND

Can't make it to the Festival? We've got you covered. From 03 September, a selection of this year's films will be available to rent or buy online so you can watch them wherever you are in Southeast Asia.

DFF ON SINGAPORE AIRLINES

From October till December 2016, DFF will take to the sky with a selection of 8 films from DFFSG2016 screened exclusively onboard KrisWorld, Singapore Airlines' award-winning inflight entertainment system.

FESTIVAL OPENING TITLES

Director Sebastian Lange returns to direct this year's opening titles. We're proud that several of Lange's work with DFF since 2011 were winners at the Type Directors Club New York and the HKDA Global Design Awards.

FESTIVAL SOUNDTRACK

We want to make sure that you have a good time with us, and that includes taking care of your music. Daniel Koh (UNIT) has created a new mix featuring 8 tracks inspired by this year's films.

COLLABORATIONS

Our friends at Creamier and Papa Palheta have joined forces to create an awesome range of desserts and beverages that will be available on screening days at Capitol Theatre on 03 and 04 September.

WORD ON THE STREET

"After six years, DFF is still going strong. And we're not complaining at all. We've always looked forward to catching the local, Asian and international premieres of titles from across the globe — safe to say, the fest has never let us down."
