Dior and I (NC16)

Asia Premiere

SYNOPSIS

Dior and I brings the viewer inside the storied world of the Christian Dior fashion house with a privileged, behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Raf Simons' first haute couture collection as its new artistic director — a true labour of love created in eight weeks by a dedicated group of collaborators.

Melding the everyday, pressure-filled components of fashion with mysterious echoes from the brand's past, the film pays a colourful homage to the seamstresses who serve Simons' vision. The film is also a dialogue between the past and the present; a story of Simons confronting the towering shadow of his predecessor, and an exploration of the challenges of finding one's voice while under immense pressure.
